Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the clients Business Management System & Quality Management System (Business Online), including communication with external system provider for support and changes / improvements.
  • Oversee, assist and lead the Creation, Implementation, and Maintenance of QHSE policies, processes/procedures in compliance with legal and industry standards (including with ISO 14001, 27001 and 45001).
  • Ensure consistent documentation, reporting, and staff compliance with applicable quality standards and customer QHSE contractual requirements.
  • Lead continuous improvement processes across all departments in the organization.
  • Plan and conduct internal and external audits (e.g., ISO 9001), and management reviews to ensure compliance with legislation, policies, and customer requirements.
  • Lead risk assessments, implement risk-mitigating actions, and conduct thorough incident investigations.
  • Address non-conformities effectively with root cause analyses to prevent recurrence and enhance QHSE performance.
  • Represent Company in gap analysis vs. API certified QMS (owner group), collaborate with QHSE to harmonize processes and procedures as requested and necessary. Ensure that policies align with group policies.
  • Oversee Magnet JQS registration and lead ISO and other certification processes. Responsible for gap analysis and work to achieve compliance with ISO 14001, 27001 and 45001.
  • Responsible for carrying out supplier audits. Assist with supplier qualification and requalification.
  • Responsible for implementation / follow-up of customer required QHSE procedures.
  • Monitor and improve product and service quality through audits, inspections, and data-driven analysis.
  • Annual reporting under the Norwegian Transparency Act.
  • Develop and monitor Quality Plans and track records for the companys installations.
  • Monitor ESG data and identify, implement, and monitor relevant KPIs.

Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with leadership to align QHSE objectives with organizational goals.
  • Work cross-functionally to resolve quality issues and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external audits, certifications, and regulatory bodies.
  • Keep the organization updated on industry trends, regulations, and technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, QHSE, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g. ISO 19011:2018 Audit standards).
  • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies, e.g. LEAN.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years proven track record in a similar QHSE Manager role, preferably within the oil service industry.
  • Experience in Quality, customer & supplier audits, risk management and certifications, and HSE.
  • Long experience with Quality and HSE related legislation, regulation and standards.

Skills:

  • Proficient leadership and communication skills in Norwegian and English.
  • Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Superuser of QHSE-related software and tools.
