Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS safety system design.
Job Responsibilities
- System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System (SAS) at FEED detail level.
- Ensure implementation of Global SAS system design through modification work, new system design and contractual interfaces
- Technical responsible (PRE) for SAS package.
- Coordination and follow-up SAS package technical deliveries, documentation, plans and solutions.
- Review of SAS technical package documentation.
- Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers.
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and client.
- Offshore survey may be required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or higher
- Minimum 12 years’ experience from automation engineering in green field projects
- Minimum 8 years’ Experience from automation and SAS system design, incl SAS/automation package follow-up.
- Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
- FSE-course, valid through the assignment
- EX-course, valid through the assignment
