Tasks and responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies with a strong emphasis on cost reduction and value creation.
- Conduct market screening and maintain excellent market knowledge to identify cost-effective suppliers and solutions.
- Prepare inquiry documents for major equipment and services in close cooperation with engineering.
- Perform commercial evaluations of quotations, and issue contracts and purchase orders.
- Monitor and ensure delivery within the agreed timeframe, cost, and quality.
- Handle risks, deviations, and invoice processing.
- Ensure all activities comply with relevant guidelines, work instructions, and procedures.
- Continuously work on improvements to reduce internal and external risks and costs, enhance delivery quality, and strengthen collaboration.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject (SCM, procurement, logistics or engineering), or relevant experience to compensate.
- Minimum 3 years’ relevant experience.
- Strong commercial mindset.
- Professional, independent and team player. Demonstrating a high level of collaboration skills.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English.
- Flexible, Open and Responsible.
- Works in a structured and efficient manner, according to applicable guidelines.
