Senior Solution Architect

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Solutions Architect to provide guidance on solutions and architecture design. In this role, you will be collaborating with business owners to develop and adhere to architectural guidelines, and leverage the strengths of their application portfolio, whilst striving to reduce complexity.

This position can be lead from Stavanger or Oslo.

Tasks and responsibilities

• Improve overall architecture: Oversee the end-to-end architecture and design to ensure implementation of the right solutions within a specific domain or sub-domain.
• Create blueprints: Evaluate and translate business, information, and technical requirements into architectural blueprints for a portfolio of solutions or products.
• System integration: Architect the integration of applications and systems into a larger ecosystem.
• Documentation: Create and document architectural designs to guide and contextualize solution development across various initiatives aligned with customer, portfolio, and transformation objectives.
• Support implementation: Ensure that development and implementation activities are delivered according to the solution design.
• Provide expertise: Provide consulting support and facilitate sound architecture decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture principles and guidelines.
• Collaborate to achieve goals: Work with system owners, subject matter experts, product teams, and service providers to secure the validity of solutions.

Desired qualifications and experience

• Experience: 5-10 years’ in experience in stakeholder management, communication, and delivering projects involving people, processes, and technology.
• Experience with Solution Architecture: At least 2 years’ experience in a solution architect role.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience from the oil and gas industry is required.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with various solution blueprints, architectural patterns and principles, data modeling, and data- and integration- platforms is a plus.
• Languages: Fluent English (verbal and written) is required. Fluent Norwegian is an advantage.
