Environment and Impact Assessment expert
Work tasks
- Paperwork to complete applications for fulfilled reporting obligations
- Writing work to complete the KU/KU program (few projects)
- Participate in meetings with relevant authorities (Mdir; ED; .)
- Project support for internal environmental deliverables including environmental risk assessment; BAT evaluations; environmental budget; ALARP; etc.
- Participate in professional discussions with project teams on various topics including environmental technology, as well as stay up to date on any changes in government expectations, requirements, etc.
- Coordination of theme-specific studies for KUP/KU Summary of consultation comments and proposals for a response to be presented to ED
Desired qualifications
- A master's degree in environmental, social sciences such as chemistry, biology, natural resource management or political science.
- Minimum 10 years of experience with environmental sustainability, impact and risk management in Norway. –
- Proficient in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to handle complex issues and changing external context and requirements.
- Deep understanding of relevant Norwegian and international legislation as well as standards and guidelines.
- Experience working with and using a variety of communication and engagement methods and channels.
