Senior Structural Analysis Engineer

Work tasks

• Perform structural analyses, including local calculations, to assess the integrity and stability of various structures.
• Structural analyses, designs, calculations and checks of main, secondary and equipment steel.
• Structural analyses are performed using the computer programs: Genie, Sesam, Abaqus, StaadPro, MathCAD

Desired qualifications

• Master's degree in civil engineering, mechanical or marine engineering
• Knowledge of analysis tools such as Sesam/Genie and Staad pro is an advantage
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience from the energy sector or construction-related business
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high level of loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seek advice and share your own experiences with others
• Communicate well and be able to work together in a team
• English language required, but Norwegian is preferred
• Be flexible and able to solve problems in collaboration with your own team and other disciplines
• Knowledge of NS-EN 1090
• Offshore course – Must either be held or be able to complete as needed in a project
