Automation Engineer

• Locations: Haugesund and Bergen
• Duration: 1 year

Introduction

On behalf of a client, we are looking for automation engineers in Haugesund and Bergen. Here you will work in modification and renewable projects at onshore facilities. 

Work tasks

• Responsible for technical deliveries within the field of automation, as well as assigned project tasks in the project.
• Ensure that the company's requirements are understood by the supplier and implemented in the design
• Provide input to and quality assure project plans
• Process and recommend amendments 
• Contribute to procurement and tender evaluations 
• Contribute to the establishment of the Assignment Agreement, Design Basis and TORG 
• Managing risk and HSE in design 

Qualifications

• Bachelor/Master in automation and similar. 
• Minimum 4 years of experience in oil and gas projects on the Norwegian continental shelf.  
• Experience with technical requirements and international standards 
• Good communication skills in English and Scandinavian, written and oral 
• Competence/certification within EX/Exi. 
• You are results-oriented and proactive.
• You are a team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment. 
• You are dedicated, responsible and motivated.
• You are good at organizing your own work.
• Candidates must have permission to work in Norway. 

This is a 1-year assignment, and the client wants to start soon. As a consultant at Vega, you will receive competitive terms and regular follow-up throughout the course of your assignment.
