Description about project/department

In the Inspection and material (IM) department there are 28 employees, within the dicilines inspection, mterial and surface, located at all the onshore facilities in Norway. These positions are located at the Mongstad refinery. IM is in the technical discipline support (TDS) sector in the technical and plant optimization (TPO) unit. Our responsibilities are preventive maintenance program for inspection of static process equipments and piping, including programs for CUI.

Tasks and responsibilities

• RBI (risk based inspection), maintaining and building the system. 
• Including searching for data in drawings and documentation. 
• Working with the IMS software (RBI tool) 
• Verify the inspection report and conduct an RBI assessment. This also includes updating the preventive maintenance program if needed. 
• Handling M5 notifications (documentation change report)

Competence Requirements

•  NS415 Level 2 
• Experience with RBI methodology 
• API 580 and 581 
• Bachelor or Master in mechanical or material engineering
