Description about project/department

In the the Inspection and material (IM) department there is 28 employees, within the dicilines inspection, mterial and surface, located at all the onshore facilities in Norway. These positions are located at the Mongstad refinery. IM is in the technical dicipline support (TDS)-sector in the thechnical and plant optimisation (TPO) unit. Our responisbilities are preventive manintenance program for inspection of static process equipments and piping, including programs for CUI.

Tasks and responsibilities

• RBI (risk based inspection), maintaining and building the system. 
• Including searching for data in drawings and documentation. 
• Working with the IMS-softare (RBI tool) 
• Verify inspection report and conduct a RBI assessment. This also includes updating the preventive maintenance program if needed. 
• Handeling M5-notifications (documentation change report)

Competence Requirements

•  NS415 Level 2 
• Experience with RBI methodology 
• API 580 and 581 
• Bachelor or Master in mechanical or material engineering
