Blár unites innovation and sustainability to take the aquaculture industry to new heights. With our Octopus technology solution, we have developed subsea pull-down systems that improve fish health, reduce biological risk and provide greater flexibility – whether in fjords, along harsh coastal areas or offshore. Blár is organized around two complementary subsidiaries:

• Blár Technology AS: Owns technology and platform for development, protection and commercialization of the Octopus technology.
• Blár Operations AS: Owner of concessions and locations, responsible for production concepts and partnerships.

Role: AI Enablement and Digital Innovation – Blár Technology (Ref. 1006)

The AI Enablement and Digital Innovation Manager is responsible for integrating artificial intelligence and digital tools across the Blár organization. The role ensures that Blár is at the forefront of AI and translates new technology into practical, secure and value-creating solutions for development, operations, administration and communication.

Areas of responsibility:

• Monitor and evaluate new AI tools
• Drive the introduction and use of AI in Blár
• AI training for employees and management
• Adapting AI to engineering, project management, and administration
• Supporting Octopus technology with AI-based processes
• Establish best practices for responsible AI use
• Consulting on AI strategy and process improvement
• Contribute to digital and social media, including web platforms
• Coordinate and develop SOME content and engagement
• Collaborate on content and user experience on digital platforms

Profile

• Experience with AI tools, digital media and web
• Updated on new technology and digital communication
• Pedagogical and experienced in training and content production
• Good understanding of the role of technology in organizations
• Committed and curious about digital platforms and innovation
