About Blue

Blár unites innovation and sustainability to take the aquaculture industry to new heights. With our Octopus technology solution, we have developed subsea pull-down systems that improve fish health, reduce biological risk and provide greater flexibility – whether in fjords, along harsh coastal areas or offshore. Blár is organized around two complementary subsidiaries:

• Blár Technology AS: Owns technology and platform for development, protection and commercialization of the Octopus technology.
• Blár Operations AS: Owner of concessions and locations, responsible for production concepts and partnerships.

Role: Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – Blár Operations (Ref. 2001)

Areas of responsibility:

• Senior management of Blár Operations
• Strategic responsibility for concessions, locations and production strategy
• Representation towards authorities, investors and partners
• Develop Blár as the aquaculture player of the future, alone or in partnership
• Ensure close collaboration with Blár Technology and Blár AS

Background and experience:

• Management experience from aquaculture or related industries
• Documented responsibility for concessions, locations, production or commercial operations
• Experience with authorities, investors and strategic partnerships
• Good understanding of regulations and operational risk
• Ability to structure partnerships and joint projects in complex environments
• Great credibility, leadership presence and execution ability
