About Blue

Blár unites innovation and sustainability to take the aquaculture industry to new heights. With our Octopus technology solution, we have developed subsea pull-down systems that improve fish health, reduce biological risk and provide greater flexibility – whether in fjords, along harsh coastal areas or offshore. Blár is organized around two complementary subsidiaries:

• Blár Technology AS: Owns technology and platform for development, protection and commercialization of the Octopus technology.
• Blár Operations AS: Owner of concessions and locations, responsible for production concepts and partnerships.

Areas of responsibility:

• Overordnet ledelse av Blár Operations
• Strategisk ansvar for konsesjoner, lokaliteter og produksjonsstrategi
• Representasjon mot myndigheter, investorer og samarbeidspartnere
• Utvikle Blár som fremtidens havbruksaktør, alene eller i partnerskap
• Sikre tett samarbeid med Blár Technology og Blár AS

Background and experience:

• Ledererfaring fra havbruk eller nærliggende bransjer
• Dokumentert ansvar for konsesjoner, lokaliteter, produksjon eller kommersiell drift
• Erfaring med myndigheter, investorer og strategiske samarbeid
• God forståelse for regelverk og operasjonell risiko
• Evne til å strukturere partnerskap og fellesprosjekter i komplekse miljøer
• Stor troverdighet, ledertilstedeværelse og gjennomføringsevne
