We are looking for a structured and committed Accountant II who wants to develop further within accounting and reporting. You will be responsible for ongoing accounting tasks for assigned assets. The role involves an increasing degree of independence, and you will contribute to continuous improvement of processes and quality.
Areas of responsibility
- Preparation and sending of monthly customer invoices, as well as maintenance of documentation in the accounting system
- Follow-up with customers and collaborate with the operations team to ensure correct invoicing and payment
- Balance sheet reconciliations and analyses on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Preparation of budget variance analyses
- Contribute to forecasting and annual budgets
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and local accounting regulations
- Collaboration with onshore and offshore teams in connection with month-end closing
- Handle ad hoc analyses, requests and participation in accounting-related projects
Who we are looking for
You have a basic understanding of accounting, are accurate and enjoy responsibility. The role is suitable for those who want to develop further within the profession, work closely with experienced colleagues and gradually take on more complex tasks.
Competence
- Bachelor's or college education in the field
- 4 years of relevant experience
- Proficient user of Microsoft Office and Excel
- Experience with Ocacle ERP system is an advantage
- Have clear communication, both written and oral, in English and Norwegian.
