Automation Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Senior Automation engineer with experience from the oil and gas industry.

Main Tasks:

• System Design, interface and follow up of Safety and Automation System as appointed by automation team lead
• Specification of Global SAS system design through modification work, new system design and contractual interfaces
• Review of SAS technical documentation
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers
• Follow-up and participation in Hardware and Software design
• Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and clients 
• Offshore survey may be required

Qualifications: 

• Minimum 12 years' experience from automation engineering in green field projects Candidates must have experience from NCS projects. Candidates without this experience will not be evaluated.
• Minimum 8 years' experience from automation and SAS system design, incl. SAS/automation network solutions. 
• Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC 
• Efficient communicator, who communicates well in English – Both orally and in writing
• Cooperative working attitude and acceptance for multicultural team environment 
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team 
• Systematic and accurate, with high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements 
• Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others
• Valid FSE course and EX course
• Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway.
