Construction Lead

Job duties:

• Follow-up of the civil contractor on the project
• Support Site Manager/Construction Manager
• Support and lead activities related to construction work in projects
• Ensure technical requirements are met, and support necessary technical decisions and approvals
• Daily follow-up with activities on the construction site
• Actively participate in safety work on construction sites
• Daily reporting of project progress
• Change control on construction site
• Follow up on quality and deviation system
• Follow up to ensure that the contractor has access to necessary/correct drawings and descriptions

Qualifications:

• Engineer or civil engineer, possibly documented experience
• Minimum 10 years of experience from similar projects
• Basic MS Office and PIMS knowledge
• Self-starter with a strong delivery focus, excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently, manage processes and be proactive
• Is positive, service-oriented and quality-conscious
• Strong and effective communication skills. Willing to receive/give constructive feedback
• Flexible and adaptable in handling changing priorities and new tasks
• Open-minded team player with the ability to influence, share knowledge and manage interfaces with a wide range of teams/disciplines/strategic partners
• Ability to drive continuous improvement using Lean methodology
• Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and can handle many activities simultaneously.
