- Title: Contracts Manager
- Location: Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim or Oslo
- Duration: 12.05.24 – 29.04.2026, with possibilities for extension.
Introduction
On behalf of our client, we are seeking a Contracts Manager to oversee project procurement of subsea, engineering and/or construction projects. Assignments could be in the following portfolios:
- Marine & fabrication contracts
- Subsea Operations/Inspections, Maintenance & Repair contracts
- Electrification projects
- Newbuild projects
Main responsibilities
- Perform demand and market analysis in both global and local markets.
- Lead and participate in a cross-functional teams for the establishment of specific procurement strategies both locally and as part of a global sourcing team.
- Prepare and issue enquiries, manage and conduct bid evaluation, negotiations and prepare award recommendation.
- Drive and perform contract management from award to contract close-out with a focus on minimizing value leakage, risk and promoting safety.
- Enhance company’s supply chain by ensuring compliance with our governing Supply Chain Management processes, with specific focus on Integrity Due Diligence, Human Rights assessments, Safety and Commercial Risk.
- Proactively ensure high quality stakeholder management both internally and towards suppliers.
- Maintain extensive dialogue with external suppliers and stakeholders to build strategic relations.
Competence Requirements
- Experience with project procurement within the energy sector is required, herein minimum 5 years’ relevant experience.
- Relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree is beneficial, but relevant experience can compensate.
- Strategic and commercial mindset with strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with establishment and management of major contracts.
- Stakeholders management skills, both internally and externally.
- Flexible in taking on new tasks and challenges.
This is a contract lasting until end of April 2026, with good possibilities for extension, and can be lead from Stavanger, Bergen, Trondheim or Oslo. Regular travel between locations will not be required.
