The supply base in Kristiansund is part of UPN joint operational support (JOS) and belongs to Logistics and Emergency Response (LE). LE is responsible for translating the installations' needs into concrete plans for the efficient utilization of resources related to vessels, air transport, emergency response and base operations. Base operations is responsible for the company's base service agreements, as well as agreements for cargo carriers, waste, transport, tank washing and property. Central to our work is improvement work together with our suppliers in order to improve the flow of goods. In order to support safe and efficient operations, it is important to ensure a safe and efficient supply from base to installation. We are now looking for a Product Flow Manager. In this role, you will work to ensure a safe and efficient product flow for our customers and partners. You will work closely with operational interfaces across the disciplines of terminal logistics, product flow and technical services. 

Work tasks

The purpose of the role as specialist for goods flow is to assume professional responsibility for goods flow. This includes contributing to the further development of work processes in the specialist area, conducting improvement work within the specialist area at the individual base and participating in networks across the bases.  

  • HSE and safety management (NOG091) within the subject area and follow up registration in Synergi and QM / ImproveUs. 
  • Ensure that the contractor performs in accordance with the contract, governing documentation and regulatory requirements. 
  • Act as a professional supervisor and driver for training within the field, both internally and externally. 
  • Logistics support and interact with customers and relevant environment internally and externally. 
  • Manage the department's needs for warehouse and space (collaboration with area contract, Vab, / operations coordinator). 
  • Contract and supplier follow-up. Requisition of materials and base services. Cost control. 
  • System follow-up. 
  • Manage and facilitate good interaction with customers, requisitioners, suppliers internally/externally as well as Logistics Development and Resource Management, to ensure an efficient inbound/outbound flow of goods. 
  • Follow up to ensure good logistics flow in the supply chain related to outgoing and incoming supplies to and from the base. 
  • Customs coordinator duties. 
  • Supply chain tasks. 
  • Possibility of participation in Terminal duty scheme.

Qualifications

  •  You put safety first and contribute to our goal of zero injuries. 
  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree, experience in logistics would be an advantage. 
  • Desirable with 3-5 years of experience and a good process and business understanding. 
  • Is collaborative and has good communication skills with a desire to contribute to a positive working environment. 
  • Ability to handle operational challenges in an operational environment. 
  • Ability to take responsibility, work independently, and take initiative for improvement. 
  • Good IT and digitalization skills: Experience with SAP and Kabal is desirable. We are looking for candidates with an interest in IT and motivation for continuous development of their IT skills. 
  • Structured and flexible.
