Field Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of a client, we are seeking a field engineer in instrumentation or electrical to assist with the optimization of an onshore facility in the oil and gas sector. 

Technical project support is responsible for the technical support for modifications and projects at onshore facilities. 

Responsibilities and tasks

• Responsible for technical deliveries within the field, as well as assigned project tasks in the project. 
• Ensure that the company's requirements are understood by the supplier and implemented in the design 
• Provide input to and quality assure project plans 
• Process and recommend amendments 
• Contribute to procurement and tender evaluations 
• Contribute to the establishment of the Assignment Agreement, Design Basis and TORG 
• Managing risk and HSE in design 

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in field instrumentation/automation AND 8 years of experience, OR Master's degree in field instrumentation/automation AND 4 years of experience. 
• Experience with technical requirements and international standards 
• Good communication skills in English and Scandinavian, written and oral 
• Competency requirements/courses within EX/Exi
• Team player with the ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment 
• Dedicated, responsible and motivated. 
• Good at organizing own work. 
• Able to contribute to a safe and good working environment 

This is a 1-year assignment lasting until 2025, and the customer wants to start immediately. 

Work location: Møre og Romsdal – Tjeldbergodden
