HMSS coordinator

Job duties:

• Develop and follow up on HSE programs and action plans in accordance with the company's goals and priorities, as well as customer expectations
• Be familiar with current internal requirements, specifications, relevant laws and regulations and ensure that these are implemented in the department and in the projects
• Continuously work towards improvements within the department's and contract's health, environment, safety and security goals
• Participate in risk assessments in various project phases
• Coordinate and report HSE results internally/externally to customer
• Collaborate with customers and subcontractors and ensure that HSE requirements and expectations are met
• Initiate and participate in inspections, meetings, etc. on installations and facilities
• Support the project organization with training and instructions regarding HSE processes, systems and tools
• Follow up on incidents so that the organization can learn from the causes of the incidents
• 5 day work week – camp accommodation is not applicable – this is for rotational personnel

Qualifications:

• Education in HSE/Technical Safety at Bachelor's/Master's level is desirable, but long and relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Relevant experience from petroleum-related / renewable-related project work / or construction
• Good language skills in Norwegian and English
• Good collaboration skills
• Flexible for shift work evenings, weekends
