The role is responsible for ensuring that our client has an effective and competent 2nd line emergency response and that area emergency response resources are available for our operations.

The area of responsibility includes main tasks such as:

  • Plan training and emergency exercises that help develop the competence and skills of our six 2nd line guard teams
  • If necessary, recruit new on-call personnel from the line organization and conduct training together with our emergency response provider.
  • Maintain and update 2nd line emergency preparedness plans.
  • Be the administrator for CIM, including keeping this updated with emergency documentation and action cards
  • Maintain and develop collaboration with internal and external emergency response actors
  • Interact with corporate preparedness regarding training and exercises coordinated with 3rd line
  • Responsible for ensuring that area emergency response resources are ordered and available for our offshore assets and operations
  • Plan and manage weekly shift changes for 2nd line emergency response teams
  • If needed during real incidents, provide administrative assistance to the 2nd line emergency response team

Desired qualifications

  • We are looking for someone who has 5-10 years of experience with 2nd line emergency response at an operator and preferably knowledge of the area emergency response solution on the shelf.
