We are currently seeking a Hydrocarbon Management Engineer consultant. This position will be part of the team responsible for following up on fiscal measurement, allocation and reporting from all of the company's operated fields. As a Hydrocarbon Management Engineer, you will be responsible for operating, following up and further developing the hydrocarbon management system for one of our assets. You will be part of a team of committed colleagues who have similar roles towards other assets while interacting with roles both internally and externally.
Job duties:
- Allocate production of oil and gas between the fields producing for the installation based on commercial agreements (Allocation).
- Ensure that allocation and reporting are carried out at the right time and with the right quality.
- Correct incorrect data and help provide missing data where needed, often in collaboration with the Metering Engineer.
- Validate data bases and follow up on deviations and imbalances in the allocation systems.
- Prepare monthly check reports for allocation to APM.
- Re-run allocation and send out new reports in case of corrections back in time.
- Work towards continuous improvement of systems and routines related to allocation.
- Follow up and contribute to understanding the value chain of oil, gas, water and environmental emissions.
- Interact closely with internal and external stakeholders regarding production reporting and allocation.
Qualifications:
- Higher education in IT, process science, finance or engineering. Relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
- Good analytical skills.
- Experience in metering, allocation or production reporting is desirable.
- Knowledge of the production reporting tool Energy Component is an advantage.
- Fluent in Norwegian and English, spoken and written.
