Laboratory assistant

On behalf of a client, we are now seeking a Laboratory Technician for a position at the operations laboratory in Hammerfest. The position will involve daily analyses, quality control, sampling, simple instrument maintenance and incidental laboratory work. Shift work must be expected. 

We are looking for someone who has a certificate as a laboratory technician, a candidate with a chemistry/biochemistry background may be considered. Candidate must have a class B driver's license and be fluent in Norwegian and English. 

The contract duration is a desired start at the end of September (by agreement) and duration until March 2026. There is a further option period of 2×3 months in the contract.
