Laboratory Engineer

Customer wants to hire a laboratory engineer for the Kårstø Operational Laboratory. The laboratory performs analyses and measurements for the Kårstø process plant.

Job duties:

• As a laboratory engineer, you perform tasks such as instrument maintenance and instrument control. 
• Furthermore, there is methodological responsibility which involves updating procedures. 
• Some analytical work as needed. 
• The laboratory also has some field tasks such as sampling. 
• Typical equipment that you will be responsible for is GC (gas chromatography).

Experience:

• Education/bachelor's degree in chemistry/process/automation is relevant for this position. 
• It is important that the candidate is comfortable with adjusting/troubleshooting instruments. 
• Experience working with instrumental analysis is desirable.
