Laboratory Engineer

We are now looking for a laboratory engineer on behalf of our client. The laboratory you will work in monitors onshore facilities. The laboratories deliver daily analyses for monitoring operating parameters and environmental analyses. The laboratory has both laboratory technicians, engineers and apprentices who participate in our continuous operation.

Your tasks

• Contribute to daily analysis work in the lab 
• Planning and installing instruments and associated analysis methods 
• Maintain and control instrumentation 
• Be able to hold the role of local quality coordinator (work according to ISO17025) 
• Be able to participate in on-call duty

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Chemistry or equivalent (bio/biochemistry/process chemistry/process technology)
• Relevant experience from working in a laboratory
• Knowledge of accreditation/quality system/GLP
• Experience with LIMS systems
• Requirements for good Norwegian language skills, both oral and written.
• Driving license class B (in accordance with duty)
• High degree of independence, sense of responsibility and risk understanding
