Would you like to help further develop and implement the company's main goals within HSE and Sustainability?
As Head of HSE and Sustainability, you will have the overall leadership responsibility for further developing and implementing the company's main objectives within Health, Environment, Safety, Risk Management, Quality and Sustainability. The manager, together with his team, will establish action plans and carry out verifications that will be followed up at all levels in the organization.
The position involves travel, including to our on- and offshore project locations.
The position is part of the company's management team and reports directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities/tasks
- Lead and further develop the unit for HSE, risk, quality and sustainability
- Develop and promote the company's management systems and reporting tools to ensure effective follow-up and improvement
- Ensure that regulatory, customer and internal requirements are understood and complied with throughout the organization
- Training, follow-up and support for managers within HSE, quality and sustainability
- System owner for the company's system for reporting deviations, unwanted incidents and improvements
- Establish action plans and improvement programs within HSE and quality.
- Overall responsibility for HSE reporting, including following up on reporting at all levels in the organization
- Plan and conduct audits, verifications, management inspections, and participate in investigations.
- Responsible for the company's emergency preparedness with responsibility for emergency drills
- Represent the company to customers and public authorities in matters concerning HSE, quality and sustainability
- Conduct analyses and assessments, as well as improvements based on observed trends in HSE and quality to promote improvements that strengthen competitiveness.

Qualifications
- Engineering, or other technical/HSE-oriented education
- Experience from HSE, quality and/or sustainability work, preferably within industrial operations
- Experience as a leader
- Good auditing skills (theoretical/practical)
- Good knowledge of current standards, including ISO 9001/14001/31000/45001/50001
- Good language skills in Norwegian and English
