Logistics coordinator

Introduction

On behalf of a client, we are looking for a supply chain coordinator for an assignment until 2025 with the possibility of extension. 

As a Supply Chain Coordinator, you will work to maintain operational interfaces within the disciplines of terminal logistics, supply chain and technical services. The department interacts daily with both internal and external stakeholders/parties, including other supply bases, to ensure similar practices, share experiences and learn from incidents regardless of where they occur. 

This is a junior position and gives you the opportunity to develop professionally within logistics, and through varied work tasks and gain broad expertise. 

Work tasks

• Coordinate daily activities at the dock in consultation with customers, vessels and suppliers. 
• Ensure efficient berthing time 
• Prepare a plan for base deliveries 
• Coordinate tank washing operations on vessels. 
• Follow-up of bulk operations. 
• Actively contribute to improvement efforts. 
• Contribute to safe and efficient operations 
• Ensure and ensure that relevant work processes are followed 
• Perform other tasks within base operations, for example within terminal and technical services as needed. 
• Participation in a shift arrangement may be necessary.

Required qualifications

• EITHER a master's degree in logistics or similar, OR a bachelor's degree with 2-3 years of relevant experience. 
• Good collaboration skills and desire to contribute to a positive working environment 
• High integrity and ability to take responsibility, work independently, and take initiative for improvement 
• Good IT/digitalization skills – E.g. SAP & Solitaire expertise 
• Structured and flexible 
• Good communication skills

This assignment is based in Kristiansund, and the customer wants to start soon.
