The Logistics and Emergency Response Organization (LE) is responsible for delivering logistics services for the entire Norwegian continental shelf, and responsibilities include planning, developing and improving logistics services within vessels and supplies, personnel transport and emergency services. The Logistics and Emergency Response Operations Center sector is responsible for delivering safe and efficient logistics and emergency operations for all of our customer's operations on the Norwegian continental shelf. Job duties:
Work as a maritime traffic manager/logistics coordinator in the Operations Center of the Logistics and Emergency Response Organization, which is responsible for delivering 2nd line emergency response, ocean surveillance and logistics services for the entire Norwegian continental shelf:
- Perform maritime traffic monitoring of our client's and other operating companies, with whom an agreement has been made, of the safety zones of installations on the Norwegian continental shelf
- Perform operational management of emergency vessels and supply vessels, including resource coordination and optimization
- Plan, develop and improve logistics services within vessels and supply
- The position involves land-based shift work.
Experience requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in nautical science with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience, preferably as a deck officer at 2 o'clock and the possibility of being able to relieve at 1 o'clock
Personal characteristics:
- Good collaboration and communication skills, and ability to work in a structured and efficient manner
- Ability to handle operational challenges in an operational environment
