Material Handler

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Materials Coordinator with experience from the oil and gas industry. This is a senior role, where you will work with, among other things: 

Tasks and responsibilities

• Responsible for material flow in the project
• Coordination of materials and equipment
• Follow up on plans – participate in planning meetings
• Follow up on statuses in SAP
• Link between engineering, construction and other locations
• Setting up systems
• Coordination of transportation
• Personnel ordering and management
• Follow-up of other locations/sites

Required qualifications

• Higher education or a certificate in materials and logistics is desirable. Long-term relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education. 
• Manager experience
• Experience from work in the materials field
• Experience from the oil industry desirable
• Experience with SAP in material flow is an advantage. 
• You are independent, service-oriented, efficient and accurate
• Fluent Norwegian is a requirement. 

This is an assignment that will last until August 2026, and our customer wants to start work as soon as possible.
