MC/Commissioning Engineer

Introduction

We are now looking for skilled MC/Commissioning Engineers in Trondheim, Bergen, Oslo, Stavanger and Stord who can assist our customers in their projects. We can offer assignments both with suppliers and operators within the oil & energy sector. There is a need in several fields, including EIT, Mechanical, Process. 

About the position: 

As a commissioning engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing commissioning activities, planning and performing system and procedure tests, participating in FAT, and completing the project within customer delivery. 

Responsibilities and tasks include: 

• Develop and implement commissioning strategies and plans in collaboration with project management and other relevant stakeholders on a multidisciplinary level 
• Conduct technical assessments and risk assessments in connection with commissioning activities 
• Monitor and control the functional testing and system integration processes 
• Plan and take responsibility for final delivery to customer 

Desired qualifications:

• Relevant Bachelor/Master/Technical college degree is an advantage. Long experience can compensate for lack of formal education 
• Minimum 3 years of experience from commissioning activities in Norwegian oil and gas projects 
• Experience from maintenance and modification projects is advantageous 
• Some positions require a valid offshore certificate

• Good cooperation 
• Ability to work on multiple processes and activities simultaneously 
• Focus on HSE and safe operations at all times 
• Fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken. 

These assignments are for 1-3 years with the possibility of extension.
