On behalf of our client we are currently looking for MC Engineers White Trades to ensure successful execution of all MC activities within the project schedule and manhour budgets, with focus on safety, quality and client's satisfaction.
Main responsibilities
- Review JC's and perform required updates prior to release to Construction.
- Monitor and verify scoping in PIMS regarding MC packs.
- Responsible for punch update in PIMS according to internal Punch routines.
- Monitor PIMS continuously as physical MC activities are carried out. Verify all MCCR's within an MCC package.
- Contribute to develop a high technical skill within the discipline.
- Be familiar with project Completion requirements and project Design (Specs/P&ID/SLD/Block Diagram/Loops/IO's) and project system boundaries.
- Ensure to be familiar with and comply with HSE requirements outlined in the contract and by Company.
Specific activities and responsibilities
- Work order MC preparation
- MCC preparation
- MC dossier preparation
- Prepare discipline input to weekly and monthly status reports according to project requirements.
Interface and Coordination
- Reports to project MC Lead, which again reports to the Completion manager
- Technical interface to other discipline engineers, construction, plan, and have close liaison with client.
- Provide a good working environment within her area of responsibility.
Qualifications
- Technical background
- M.sc/B.sc or Higher vocational degree / Technical college
- Letter of apprenticeship / Apprenticeship letter
- DSB approval
- Significant technical experience in EIT
- ATEX experience is an advantage
- Experience from equivalent work from projects or bases
- Ambitious towards goals and systematic in management of multidiscipline work
- Personal skills and experience may compensate for some lack of formal education
Positions are for daytime and office located. Work location Stavanger.
