MC Field Engineers w/ Mechanical Discipline

2 x MC Field Engineers within Mechanical Discipline. Startup asap.

This will be rotation (day time).

Responsibilities and main tasks

• Organize the MC activities, including inspections, checks, testing and documentation.
• Be familiar with project Completion requirements and project Design (Specs/P&ID's/Isometrics/Datasheets/layout/GA) and project system boundaries.
• Review JC's and perform required updates prior to release to Construction.
• Verify MCCR for installation and construction testing.  
• Monitor and verify progress of Engineering and Construction on his MC packs.
• Perform physical punching and update Punch List in PIMS
• Distribute, sign and compile all MC documentation into MC Dossiers, including quality assure MC and RLM.  
• Update PIMS continuously as physical MC activities are carried out.
• Arrange walkdowns with the company's rep.
•  Initiate MCC acc. Forecast date.
• Ensure that the team members are familiar with and comply with the HSE requirements outlined in the contract 
• Contribute to develop a high technical skill within the discipline.

Specific activities and responsibilities

• Prepare discipline input to weekly and monthly status reports according to project requirements.
• INTERFACE AND COORDINATION
• Reports to project MC Lead, which again reports to the Completion Manager
• Technical interface to other discipline engineers, construction, plan, and have close liaison with client.
• Provide a good working environment within her area of responsibility.

• Technical education 
• Technical background 
• Technical experience relevant disciplines 
• Experience from lead positions on multidiscipline projects  
• Experience from equivalent work from projects or bases 
• Ambitious towards goals and systematic in management of multidiscipline work 
• Personal skills and experience may compensate for some lack of formal education
