Occupational Hygienist
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Plan and carry out surveys and detailed risk assessments related to chemical, physical (e.g. noise) and biological working environment factors, including occupational hygiene measurements.
- Support the risk owner in following up on risks and working on risk-reducing measures.
- Provide advice to management, employees and safety representatives in collaboration with other professional areas within the occupational health service (e.g. nurses, ergonomists, organizational psychologists and doctors).
- Provide input to the risk owner in connection with the establishment of annual health and working environment plans, as well as follow up on agreed deliveries.
- The position will require some travel, including shorter assignments at the customer's offshore installations and onshore facilities.
Desirable experience:
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in occupational hygiene.
- Knowledge of and experience in the use of NS-EN-689 is emphasized, including planning, conducting and interpreting occupational hygiene measurements.
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in HSE, chemistry, biology, occupational hygiene, or other relevant technology subjects.
- Certification as an occupational hygienist is an advantage.
