Offshore Structural Engineer

Work Location: Onshore sporadic offshore – Applicable work locations: Bergen, Stavanger, Stjordal, Harstad

Period: 31.05.2025 – 30.07.2026

Tasks and responsibilities

• Participate as Structural Engineer in modification projects. 
• Ensure compliance with both internal and external requirements. 
• Secure structural integrity in the projects. 
• Focal point between project and Structural Integrity at the installation 
• Risk Assessments of marine structures 
• Follow up engineering contractor 
• Review of engineering documents 
• Review and execute necessary structural analyzes to document technical integrity and safe operation of marine structures. 
• Follow up offshore installation and travel offshore if needed 

Qualifications

• Hold an MSc in Marine Technology, Civil Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. 
• 5-10 years relevant work experience 
• Fluent in Norwegian and English. 
• Good knowledge of regulatory requirements, and national and international standards for marine structures 
• Experience working in multidiscipline teams and handling interfaces 
• Good knowledge of tools and methods for analytical work with marine structures Personal qualities 
• Strong HSE focus 
• Collaborative, dynamic and good team skills. 
• Understand and manage risk. 
• Analytical and structured.
