Description about project/department

Supply Base Florø (FBF) is part of the EPN Joint Operations Support (JOS) and belongs to Logistics and Emergency Response (LE). LE is responsible for translating the installations' needs into concrete plans for the efficient utilization of resources related to vessels, air transport, emergency response, base operations and OCTG. Supply Base Florø has, in addition to Base Operations functions, a Logistics Center for OCTG. We are a center of expertise within OCTG activity, with management and coordination of the entire value stream across all supply bases along the coast. This covers everything from registered needs to planning of outgoing OCTG packages, return material, optimization of inventory for ongoing and upcoming activities on the Norwegian shelf. The center will, through its function, create significant savings within OCTG logistics and be a driver for improvements within SSU, digitalization and OCTG processes. Improvement work together with our suppliers is central to being able to deliver safe and efficient operations from the base to our customers offshore. Logistics Center OCTG is now looking for a Planner for the OCTG team. In the role of planner, you will work to maintain operational interfaces, plan OCTG packages, contribute to further developing our work processes and ensure good interaction with our suppliers.

Job description:

  •  Plan OCTG work packages (outbound/return) 
  • Follow up registration in Synergy and QM (SSU). 
  • Actively participate in improvement work in the department. 
  • Follow up and stay close to relevant suppliers. 
  • Assist across the OCTG department as needed. 

Competence:

  • Bachelor's level or higher. 
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience is preferred. 
  • Take responsibility, work structured and independently, and take initiative for improvement.
  • Is collaborative and has good communication skills. 
  • Have high integrity and ability to live up to our values. 
  • Thrives working towards common goals and wants to contribute to a positive working environment. 
  • Good risk understanding and ability to think holistically. 
  • Good English skills 
  • Applicants must be able to speak and write Norwegian.
