Planning audit shutdowns and peak activity periods

Place: Stavanger 

Period: 28.02.2025 – 30.03.2026

The Audit Outage Services unit is responsible for preparing, planning and implementing audit outages on the Norwegian continental shelf. Audit outages result in a shutdown of production on the installation and therefore also loss of production/income. Implementing audit outages without safety incidents and within the specified duration is a high priority. The role of the audit outage/high activity period planner is a central part of the audit outage team, which is responsible for maturing, planning and coordinating the implementation of the audit outage. The role reports to the audit outage manager. The position is in Stavanger and will work towards one of the facilities supported from the operations office in Stavanger.

Work tasks

• Ensure compliance with established planning processes for the audit suspension and contribute to their further development 
• Establish a detailed network plan for the audit stoppage through interaction with internal and external stakeholders 
• Ensure optimal utilization of resources for efficient implementation of audit shutdowns 
• Establish and implement routines for progress reporting in the implementation of audit stops 
• Analyze progress and identify necessary actions to ensure goal achievement for the audit stoppage 
• Communicate plan status to involved stakeholders and provide support for prioritization during the audit shutdown 
• Contribute to the development of best practices for audit planning and in the unit's improvement activities

Competencies

• Good English and Norwegian skills, oral and written 
• Good knowledge of using Safran and SAP 
• Experience as a planner 
• Relationship builder with good collaboration skills in interdisciplinary teams 
• Accurate and systematic (experience in systematizing large amounts of information) 
• Proactive and results-oriented 
• Flexible (Will require travel offshore in connection with audit shutdown, as well as be able to handle periods of high workload during the shutdown)
