Project Engineer Subsea Umbilical Systems

The Subsea Umbilical and Cable Project Engineer is a member of the Subsea Production System (SPS) team / SURF Management team and reports to the SPS Lead/Manager and is responsible for all planning, engineering and fabrication work to be performed for the Subsea Umbilical and Cable in accordance with the company and Project governing documentation, best practices and applicable rules and regulations requirements.

Key activities include: 

• Concept and project development 
• Scope definitions/descriptions and selection of relevant technical requirements. 
• Tendering and evaluation activities 
• Preparing technical documents for project sanction, studies and contract tendering. 
• Contractor follow-up in project execution 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master’s degree 
• In-depth knowlegde of subsea umbilical systems including DCFO 
• Experience with project development 
• Experience with follow-up of engineering and subsea contractors 
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience

Contract period: 31.08.2026(After agreement)-31.08.2028, option period 1×1 year

Work location: Stavanger, Bergen or Oslo
