Project Engineer Technical Safety

Location: Stavanger

Duration: 03.11.2024 – 29.05.2025

Tasks

• As a project engineer for technical safety in a projects portfolio, you will be working in a multidisciplinary team following topside projects from DG3 to DG4, according to PD03. 
• Typical tasks include preparing execution, follow-up of suppliers and participating in QA/QC activities in the projects. 

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree within the field of technical safety, or in another relevant technical discipline like process, mechanical or automation. Relevant experience in technical safety may compensate for formal qualifications.
• Minimum 5+ relevant work experience within project support. 
• Oil and gas offshore experience is preferred, either from operation support or engineering. 
• Experience within all or some of the following technical safety areas of competence is preferred: active fire protection, passive fire protection, escape, evacuation and rescue, and layout design principles and explosion barriers. 
• Experience with risk management (ALARP, HAZID, HAZOP), and ability to identify, communicate, and manage risk.
• Knowledge of Norwegian technical requirements and standards, and ability to communicate requirements and show direction towards internal and external stakeholders.
•  Positive attitude and a strong team player with a global mindset.
•  High ethical standards, and ability to live by our safety and security expectations.
• Good written and communication skills, both in English and Norwegian.
