Supply Base Kristiansund is part of UPN Joint Operational Support (JOS) and belongs to Logistics and Emergency Response (LE). LE is responsible for translating the installations' needs into concrete plans for the efficient utilization of resources related to vessels, air transport, emergency response and base operations. The vessel team is responsible for preparing good plans so that the needs of our customers are met while we utilize our vessel resources in the best possible way. Central to our work is close cooperation with offshore installations, vessels, OPC 24/7 and our bases in order to ensure a safe and efficient supply from base to installation. As a Sailing Planner, the focus will be to ensure that we achieve efficient utilization of our supply vessels while maintaining a good HSE culture.
Work tasks
In the role of sailing planner in our vessel team, you will be part of a team that handles sailing planning for your own area at NCS. We interact daily with both internal and external stakeholders/parties, and we are therefore looking for colleagues who enjoy working in a team, communicate clearly, like to work out good solutions and who are able to adapt to rapid changes. By becoming part of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop professionally within logistics, and through varied work tasks, gain broad expertise.
- Prepare sailing plans that meet the customer's needs.
- Portfolio management and decision-making authority.
- Liaison with facilities, vessels and base. Lead daily liaison meetings.
- Participate in improvement work within the subject area.
- Participation in duty rostering across NCS.
Qualifications
- You put safety first and contribute to our goal of zero injuries.
- Bachelor or Master, logistics subject may be an advantage.
- Desirable with relevant experience.
- Good risk understanding and ability to think holistically.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative for improvement.
- Ability to handle operational challenges in an operational environment.
- Is collaborative and has good communication skills.
- Solitaire expertise desirable, but not a requirement.
- Applicants must be fluent in Norwegian and English, both written and spoken.
