Senior Automation Engineer

Introduction

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a Senior Automation Engineer to work with SAS system design. 

Tasks & Responsibilities

• Responsible for SAS system design and integration
• Participate in fire and gas safety reviews.
• System design of process, utility, and electrical systems (interface, FS, SCD and HMI input)
• Follow-up system design for equipment packages and electrical automation systems
• Designing solutions according to our client's requirements
• Follow up vendors and vendor technical documentation and participate in test activities/FAT.
• Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
• Interface to other disciplines, suppliers, and clients
• Perform and complete engineering documents and data registers

Qualifications

• Master's or bachelor's degree within automation or equivalent 
• Minimum 8 years' experience from automation engineering in projects located on the Norwegian Continental Shelf is a requirement. 
• Good communication skills.
• Have a cooperative working attitude.
• Multi-discipline understanding
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
• Be systematic and accurate.
• Have a high loyalty to deadline and quality requirements
• Be proactive, seek advice and share your own experiences
• FSE, high and low voltage with first aid
• EX-course – Basic EX course – Minimum 6-8 hours online
• Fluent English is a requirement, fluent Norwegian is beneficial.
• Candidates must be eligible for work in Norway.
