On behalf of our client, we are looking for a skilled automation engineer to work in a large oil & gas FEED project consisting of new platform design, brownfield modification work and interface to several contractual interfaces. The right candidate will have the opportunity to develop his/her skills within engineering of Automation systems, working with the SAS safety system design.
Tasks include:
- System Design, interface and follow up of ESD, PSD and F&G System as appointed by automation team lead
- Develop SAS Safety system design according to project requirements and at required detail level (FS, Hierarchy design, C&E, FPDS, I/O and HMI sketch input)
- Design and specify SIS solutions that are aligned with existing plant, for integration of SIS systems
- Specification of Global SIS system design through contractual interfaces
- Participation in required multidiscipline reviews
- Ensure that vendor and engineering information required for progress of the work is identified and communicated to the project
- Interface to other disciplines, contractors, suppliers and clients
- Offshore survey may be required
Required Education:
- Bachelor's degree or higher
Required Work Experience:
- Minimum 12 years' experience from automation engineering in green field projects
- Minimum 5 years' experience from automation and SIS system design, including experience with brownfield modifications on a SIS system
- Experience and thorough knowledge of automation design and networks according to relevant standards such as NORSOK, ATEX, PTIL, and IEC
