Senior Electrical Engineer

Work tasks

Provide technical support for the operation and maintenance of electrical installations
Maintaining technical integrity of electrical systems
Verify and approve technical solutions
Contribute to continuous improvement of electrical systems
Promote and implement safe, efficient and reliable operations
Participate in relevant networks and technical environments and ensure the transfer of learning
Develop and maintain input to business management system (BMS) within discipline
Ensure standards and processes are adhered to
Understand and deliver business improvements according to LEAN principles
Some travel is to be expected

Desired qualifications

Bachelor or Master's degree in electrical power
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
A certificate in the electrical profession counts positively
You must be able to communicate well in English and Norwegian.
Experience in operating and maintaining electrical power plants within one or more of the following topics: Generator systems, frequency converters and starters for motors, switchboard systems, ignition source control, ATEX, electrical system analyses, strategies and routines, NORSOK and IEC standards
Knowledge of HVAC system design and operation
