Senior HVAC Engineer

As a Senior HVAC Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical integrity, performance and reliable operation of HVAC systems at our customer's installations. The role involves system ownership throughout the entire lifecycle, with a focus on safety, technical barriers, regularity, energy efficiency and continuous improvement.

The position is primarily located onshore, but occasional offshore visits must be expected as part of the follow-up of facilities and activities.

Job duties:

• Own and follow up on the technical integrity, function and documentation of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with technical requirements, Performance Standards and barrier management.
• Establish and optimize maintenance and inspection programs based on risk, condition and reliability.
• Analyze errors and operational challenges and identify improvement measures.
• Provide professional support for operations, maintenance and modifications.
• Conduct technical assessments, risk assessments and life cycle analyses.
• Follow up on energy efficiency and contribute to the safe and robust operation of HVAC systems.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal requirements and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Higher technical education.
• Relevant experience with HVAC systems within offshore, energy, process or other industrial operations.
• Good understanding of technical integrity, maintenance strategies, risk management and technical barriers.
• Experience with operation, maintenance, modifications or technical support for facilities and installations.
• Good analytical skills and ability to translate technical challenges into robust and practical solutions.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of SAP and use of maintenance systems.
• Structured and proactive.
• Strong systems understanding and implementation ability.
• Solution-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
• Ability to build good relationships across disciplines and the organization.

Contract period: 02.11.2026(by agreement) – 31.12.2027 

Work location: Stavanger, occasional offshore
