Senior Engineer Materials and Inspection

The Materials and Inspection Unit works with installations on the Norwegian continental shelf, and is responsible for preventive maintenance within inspection. The unit has a strong professional environment and high expertise within materials technology, corrosion and inspection.

Work tasks

• Solving challenges within the material corrosion and inspection profession related to the integrity of offshore process equipment and structures.
• Contribute with professional and technical operational support to the company's offshore installations on the Norwegian continental shelf. 
• Perform material and corrosion assessments, including evaluations of inspection findings and inspection reports. 
• Establish and maintain risk-based (RBI) corrosion management and inspection programs. 
• Prepare/update supporting documents for inspection program
• Follow up on inspection campaigns and suppliers 
• Support on other tasks as needed 

Qualifications 

• Bachelor or Master in materials/mechanical engineering 
• Experience in operational inspection min. 5 years 
• Knowledge/experience with SAP is an advantage
