Senior Instrumentation Engineer

Main Tasks:

• Senior Discipline Responsible Engineer is responsible for discipline engineering activities.  
• The Senior DRE shall ensure that the work within the discipline is carried out according to plan and that progress is reported. 
• The Senior DRE shall ensure that potential changes/deviations are identified and logged in accordance with the project change control system. 
• Produce/understand new documentation and drawings such as Cauce&Effect, System Control Diagrams (SCD) diagrams, loop drawings for process, Fire&Gas and safety systems; IS Loop Calculations.
• Revise existing documentation and drawings. 
• Discipline check and approval of produced documents and drawings in the project.
• Order all instrument materials needed for offshore installation. 
• Must be able to understand P&IDs and drawings from different disciplines. 
• Discussions with Client and vendor representatives in order to find optimal technical solutions

Qualifications:

• More than 5 years experience in engineering within the Oil&Gas industry.
• Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards
• High degree of self-learning skills
• Good communication
• Excellent Norwegian and English writing & speaking skills
• Knowledge of modifications on onshore installations when in operation
• Bachelor or Master degree, lack of education requires 10-15 years of relevant work experience
• EX – Basic EX Course (Minimum 6-8 hours online or 22.5 hours in the classroom)
• FSE – High and Low Voltage with First Aid.
