Senior Mechanical Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Solve problems and prepare technical requisitions for mechanical equipment
• Evaluate offers from suppliers
• Follow up equipment and selected manufacturer
• Participate in study work
• Estimate and give input to work packages

Required Education:

• Masters or bachelor degree in mechanical engineering

Required Work Experience:

• More than 5 years experience in engineering within the Oil&Gas industry.
• Must have knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as NORSOK, PTIL and API standards
• PRE Experience with multi discipline equipment packages
• Knowledge of Life Cycle Information (LCI) and/or Documentation for Operation (DFO) deliverables
• Works independently and communicates actively within the engineering team and with clients and suppliers 

Required Qualifications:

• Excellent written and spoken in both English and Norwegian
