Senior/Principal Process Engineer

We are currently looking for a Senior/Principal Process Engineer consultant for a long term assignment in Stavanger. 

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Perform and evaluate process simulations
• Preliminary and detailed process design
• Calculation and dimensioning of piping, valves and process equipment
• Prepare P&ID, line lists and design reports
• Project work in multi discipline teams
• Active participation in HAZOP, design reviews etc.

Qualifications:

• Master's or bachelor's degree in Chemistry or process-related Engineering
• Minimum 5 years' work experience in process engineering within the Oil & Gas industry in the NCS
• Experience with EPCIC, FEED and early study projects
• Experience with process simulation tools such as HYSYS, UNISIM and/or Flarenet
• Experience and knowledge of offshore processes and utility systems and process control
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, ie NORSOK, PSA, API standards etc.
• Simulation competence - preferable
• Have good communication skills, orally and written, in Norwegian and English
• Have a cooperative working attitude
• Be systematic and accurate
• Have a high loyalty to deadlines and quality requirements
• Proactive, seeking advice and sharing own experiences with others

Contract period: 02.02.2026 (after agreement)-01.02.2028
