Senior Subsea Engineer

An operator in the oil & gas industry is searching for a Subsea Engineer

Typical tasks:

• Define and own Subsea Barrier Strategy, maintenance strategy, safety strategy, saving strategy, operability and maintenance strategy
• Prepare life of field OPEX budgets, including identification of OPEX reduction opportunities
• Define and implement subsea equipment maintenance and inspection programs.
• Delivering operational risk systems and integrating it with supporting systems.
• Prepare subsea barriers, implementation of performance standards and equipment health
• Define detailed plans with regards to subsea spare storage and management of spare.
• Responsible for delivering Asset-specific Performance Standards for Subsea based on the company's generic Performance Standards.
• Responsible for the preparation and updating of the technical lifetime plan for the Asset.
• Integrate M&I workflows into digital twin initiatives.
• Support in defining digital twin requirements and support with development and implementation of the digital twin 

Skills and qualifications: 

• Min 5 years of subsea operational experience.
• Minimum Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) degree within relevant discipline.
• Relevant experience can compensate for education. 
• Fluent/good abilities in English and Norwegian, both verbal and written
