Senior Technical Safety Engineer

Job duties:

• Contribute to safe, reliable and cost-effective operations.
• Consulting within technical security and barrier management, including support for digitalization work in projects.
• Follow-up and quality assurance of analyses related to fire water (PIPENET).
• Support assets and projects both onshore and offshore as needed.
• Quality-assured technical basis for assets.
• Participate in workshops, reviews and technical security-related activities.
• Follow up on findings from analyses, inspections and incidents.
• Contribute to professional development, experience transfer and competence enhancement in the department.
• Promote learning across assets ("like things alike").
• Continuously improve processes and systems.
• Ensure good interaction between different disciplines and business areas (including SMART team).

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's degree in technical safety, risk management, process engineering or equivalent. Long and relevant experience may compensate for formal education.
• Solid expertise within active extinguishing systems.
• Valid offshore certificate 
• More than 10 years of relevant experience from the oil and gas industry.
• Multidisciplinary understanding and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English.
• Good collaboration skills and ability to share experience.
• Structured, predictable, process-oriented and practical.
• Positive attitude, team-oriented and willing to go the extra mile.
• Proactive and solution-oriented.
• Continuous search for improvements, high ethical awareness and adherence to the company's values.
