Technical safety

Job duties:

• The position will participate in projects and studies to address safety issues, identify potential hazards, propose good and technically safe solutions in the design, installation and operation of the facilities. Participation in multidisciplinary reviews and verification activities is part of the job duties. 

Example of responsibilities in the study and design phase of projects:

• Active, passive fire protection, area classification and escape routes
• Detection, ignition source control, SIL and emergency shutdown
• Technical working environment and external environment 
• Experience in conducting reviews (design review, HAZOP, HAZID, Wehra etc.)

Education:

• Bachelor or Master in relevant fields

Work experience desired:

• 5 years of experience in oil and gas related business 
• Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as PTIL, NORSOK and ISO standards
• Experience from maintenance and modification work 
• Experience from implementing HAZID, WEHRA and Design Review 
• Knowledge of technical working environment and external environment 

It will be possible to work from the following locations: Harstad, Hammerfest and Stjørdal
