Technical safety

Location: Harstad, Hammerfest or Stjørdal

Job duties:

The position will participate in projects and studies to address safety issues, identify potential hazards, and propose good and technically safe solutions in the design, installation, and operation of the facilities.

• Participation in multidisciplinary reviews and verification activities is included in the work tasks.
• Active, passive fire protection, area classification and escape routes
• Detection, ignition source control, SIL and emergency shutdown
• Technical working environment and external environment
• Experience in conducting reviews (design review, HAZOP, HAZID, Wehra etc.)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master in relevant fields
• 5 years of experience in oil and gas-related activities Knowledge of relevant regulations and standards, such as PTIL, NORSOK and ISO standards
• Knowledge of leading players' systems and company-specific requirements
• Experience from maintenance and modification work
• Experience from implementing HAZID, WEHRA and Design Review
• Knowledge of technical working environment and external environment

Languages:

• Must have English Native or bilingual proficiency
• English B1
